The Slimmon Road project will be home to 12 families when it is complete. This townhouse development is close to schools, parks, and shopping which make it the perfect location for local families. These homes will be purchased by low-income, local families through an affordable Habitat for Humanity mortgage. This site was home to our 2016 Women Build and will host the 2017 Carter Work Project. Construction began on this site in spring 2016. We anticipate being done the first phase of building in the summer of 2017.

This site includes 3 accessible units. These units have been designed to meet the specific mobility needs of the individual families purchasing the homes.

When these homes are complete they will be purchased by low-income Saskatoon families. These families have worked 500 hours of sweat equity as part of their commitment to their homes. Each family takes on an affordable mortgage that is indexed to their income.
