Thank you for choosing Habitat for Humanity Saskatoon as your charity of choice! From housewarmings to concerts, golf tournaments to galas, every event held in support of Habitat Saskatoon gets us one step closer to achieving affordable housing for low-income, working families in Saskatoon.

Please let your supporters know that 100% of the proceeds from your event will go directly into building more homes for local families. Thanks to our ReStore, all administrative costs of the organization are covered.

In order to help you plan and execute your event, here are a few things you should know ahead of time and consider when you are planning.

Habitat Saskatoon can:

• Send, where appropriate and available, a Habitat for Humanity Saskatoon representative
• Issue tax receipts (if applicable)
• Provide Habitat for Humanity Saskatoon marketing materials
• Post an event listing on our facebook page, website and twitter account
• Allow the use of the Habitat Saskatoon name/logo
• Provide a letter of support that validates the authenticity of the event

Habitat Saskatoon cannot:

• Provide funding or reimbursement for event expenses
• Provide access to our donor lists
• Guarantee promotion or advertising of your event, except on our website and social media pages
• Guarantee attendance of staff or volunteers at your event
• Provide access to celebrities or VIPs
• Supply prizes, auction items, awards

Conditions:

• Name and logo usage must be approved
• Tax receipt information (if you are approved to issue receipts) must be received within 30 days of the event
• Volunteer event organizer will obtain all necessary permits, licenses and insurance
• Volunteer event organizer must adhere to all receipting policies as outlined by the Canada Revenue Agency
• Habitat for Humanity Saskatoon reserves the right to withdraw the use of its name at any time and will not assume any costs that may be involved in doing so
• Habitat Saskatoon will not assume any legal or financial liability
• Habitat Saskatoon is not responsible for any damage, accidents to persons or property
• Habitat Saskatoon cannot accept donations where the majority of the funds raised were through gambling or the sale of alcohol
